Actually it should scare the piss out of you if you're a single female traveling alone in southern Utah at night especially LOL. You can end up someone's 8th wife that way really fast. Still not as freaky as kingman arizona though. I can actually picture several of you reading this post at some point and going, oh shit he's from Utah no wonder he's so f***Ed up.

    I got a shit ton of duostocks back when everyone blew them out for $5 a couple years back. Once you hit that stupid camel toe with a belt sander they're not half bad... And between them being stupid cheep and my cub scouts alumni status (and thus pinewood EVERYTHING race prep skills) I will melt the fuck out of fishing sinkers etc on a hot plate in a tuna can crucible at pretty much every excuse! Yes I actually balance out my forward mounted accessories using lead because cr123's and battery sticks are for people who weren't cub scouts / fear lead poisoning.

    I depend on information i get here from you wrt chinese military stuff pretty much exclusively because every other source I've found is a complete shitshow. I blame India and Indians honestly. Nowhere between the two though. And I'd bet dollars to donuts that they're going to be at least mildly hyperspectral rather than a straight chunk of the IR band (ie swir mwir lwir)

    I'm so lucky i "inherited" 2 sets of jumper cables my grandpa made of arc welding lead wire when he worked at Geneva Steel... One set is about 35 feet the other... 350 (thanks for the $3000 jumper cables geneva LOL) Was so nice during jet ski season having my cj-5 nice and dry above the waterline and jumpstarting a jet ski. Only having one set of leads trying to slip and shock the piss out of you is nice. They're in my gun case I'm using to ferry the don't leave home without them kit I'm checking to fly with me when i move to North Carolina next week. (Long story involving me being a crazy sonofabitch, having nothing to lose, and in a single 3 sentence text message watching the biggest most important relationship in my life detonate so fantastically that it's not even safe to / worth getting angry over.)

    I personally find the Chinese efforts in the last 5-10 years especially extremely impressive... 1. They build enough of shit to not only be militarily useful but also economically viable! 2. Every new development is better than the one before. 3. In technological areas where equipping a sufficiently large number of vehicles with a given capability would be prohibitively expensive they do without and use the saved $ to build whole industries from scratch, fund espionage to further offset costs in these technologies, and in general are positioning themselves for where many of these technologies are going to be when someone cracks making them cheap and in bulk! (ir imagers and I2 gear for example) Like it or not they're playing extremely smart.

    Nah it's all gravy man, I've actually been geeking out pretty hardcore on a few different gun projects any one of which is kinda exciting and bitchin on it's own. Example: For my and the wife's shields i actually broke down and just made the magazine capacity extending baseplate dust cover dealie fuckers that also are part of my mag retemtion system that I've borrowed the assisted opener knife concept from in a way to make the reload "jump" free of it's retention spot once actuated. Cool thing is each setup is a +3 round capacity extension that gives a nice "pinky hook for primary hand and better supporthand "butt feel" while in hand and makes the gun itself stay nicer in my holsters until i hit the release point at which time the gun fairly jumps right into the web of my hand while jumping me to 9+1 with the 6 round stock flush fit mag. It's fun and I've learned stuff I'll be using on the next few projects. I'm seriously wanting to try my hand at making some constant force spring based rifle and pistol mag attempts... (Probably because i hate myself) Though I'm doing akm and ak74 mag based attempts for the rifle stuff to avoid the vertical hell funnel of god damnit gene and what the fuck Sullivan!

    I hate you ulric... Damnit! Those are so pretty! Then again i also desperately wanted the little STI nemesis in 7mm penna they never sold! I liked that gun! I'm down to my shield in 9 which is ok i guess except i need to hack some hexsite like sights on so i shoot better.

    I was having full on delusions involving more api and raufossy type badness than your super 7 in a fumer configuration. A sorta inside out sj-esc russian pistol ap ammo concept mixed with an EPR ish general purpose projectile concept designed to wreck unarmored shit and epr fragment or shed much of it's outer bulk to go AP when needed and have a fumer variant if needed... Basically your general fuck your couch i don't have to teach my people windage and holdovers I'm from the hammers slammers powerguns school of external ballistics.

    Neither of those are 7.92 bofors or 7.92 Cetme Voss so.... Really in a way we all lost... I continue to hold out hope that the gerpaderps will be rightfully defeated and we will see the rise of something properly lulzy as a 7.62 nato replacement... Honestly I'm totally pulling for a 7.92 voss / 5.56 fabrl / 4.6 interdynamics fumer hybrid bullet around 7.92 actual projectile diameter and 8.5mm'ish muzzle diameter slightly tapered down from the 9.5-10mm pseudosabot/obturator/CT'ish nose cap starting OD at the chamber to whip that big long bastard of a finely shaped VLD projectile down the gain twist rifled tapering bore and out of it's reflex suppressor capped under 19 inch total tube length screaming for blood and looking to wreck shit! There's actually method to my madness here guys and bear in mind 7.62 NATO replacement means I'm purposely wanting versatility.

    Yeah it really is a shame because with as hard as he advocates for such systems and the visceral seething hatred he inspires in pretty much everyone, he could singlehandedly manage to turn people against any and all such concepts. That would be a god damn shame too because i agree with you on how awesome it would be to see such systems adopted since they'd be kinda more workable than the current approach IMO. It's aggravating and a bit distressing that "reformers" like him sprey and sparky have actually advocated for quite a few things that really are needed thrown in alongside their other and primarily mind meltingly stupid and insane inane bullshit, inadvertently and often irreversibly tainting the good ideas just as badly as the actual bad ideas in the process! Ideally and amongst actual professionals and thinking men this taint can be overcome quickly and with ease, but amongst the bureaucrat fobbit and pentagon pussy class such taints serve as the ideal and perfect justification for not doing the right thing! If only the "reformers" weren't so blind to the way they enable the worst excesses of their sworn enemies (the entrenched and all powerful gatekeeping bureaucrats) by tainting the good and necessary things they advocate for mostly as a sort of maskirovka to suck in the unwary and inspire in them a confidence and willingness to trust the reformer which he then uses to overcome your good judgement when the big bag of fucking crazy comes out!

    Tires are exciting so i totally get it... I got my wife a set of "new" (95% tread left still even had knobbies around the edges) for $50 a 12 year old netbook and 2 hours of helping the shop owner because one of his guys didn't show up that day.... I even got to buy ammunition and gun stuff with the money i didn't spend on tires! Was totally worth it

    Screw them they're too fucking cheap to buy rubbers, too fucking stupid to stop any of the eleventy twelve places they'll give them to you free (you don't even have to pretend to be a gay teen prostitute at like 98% of them though it does always make the interaction more likely to turn hilarious by at least 43%), and they're too stupid to realize once you've been traveling homeless ppl in a camper shell you actually owe whoever you talk into taking it at least $250 for their taking it off your hands (tyvek suits and hanta virus boosters are expensive god damnit!)

For those unaware, Winston felt and i agree that every 50 years the US the commonwealth and the rest of western Europe need to just mercilessly destroy Germany ....Even if they appear to be behaving at the time we should just do it anyway as a Prophylactic measure because, let's face it people, even when they're being all holier more progressive than thou like now they're still assholes they just headquartered the EU somewhere else it's just lebensbraum with a thin veneer of thoroughly cowed EU officials who technically aren't Germans and sometimes....
