Scolopax
So like their CH-53 fleet? Seems that way. 42 out of 147. You know it's bad when you have to go looking around in a museum to find a part for your plane.
xthetenth
It's also pretty bad when apparently your service is getting less flying hours than the Chinese and Russians at the same time that the other services are counting on their huge edge in flying hours in comparison to them. LoooSeR
Brasil stopped their financial support of SAR-Brasil joint development of A-Darter ("Agile Darter") short range AA missile. SAR and Brasil started this project in 2006. Missile is planned to be very agile and capable of doing almost 100 G maneuvers.

Belesarius
USN has turned to the USAF and one of their manufacturing partners to make wing spars for legacy Hornets, which apparently is one of the mission critical parts that are keeping the Hornets grounded. "Warner Robins (ALC) will be making these for as long as we support the aircraft, as this is a very complex part. They've done a wonderful job here," said Ed Koenig, NORDAM's Warfighter Support director.Having excess capacity in the 402nd CMXG allowed much-needed manufacturing workloads such as this to take place, said Mark Johnson, 402nd CMXG deputy director. http://www.robins.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123473164

LostCosmonaut
Report on Denmark's selection of a new fighter aircraft; http://www.fmn.dk/temaer/kampfly/Documents/type-selection-denmarks-new-fighter-aircrafts-english-summary5.pdf Original in nordspeak; http://www.fmn.dk/temaer/kampfly/Documents/typevalg-af-danmarks-kommende-kampfly-reduceret-vers-20160509.pdf JSF wins by a landslide, Eurofighter beats out Super Hornet for 2nd. Other highlight; Surprised they ranked the Eurofighter as higher risk than JSF. While the F-35's development hasn't been as much of a dumpster fire as Tyler Rogoway or WarIsBoring would have you believe, it definitely has had its share of difficulties. Also, I was under the impression that the Eurofighter was a fairly mature design.
Collimatrix
Sort of. EF and Rafale both are being hastily upgraded enhanced beyond the abilities of their original production tranches with new AESA and IRST. The original models of all three eurocanards lacked AESA. I think uprated engines were planned, but later canned for all the eurocanards except the gripen E/F, although that's such a radical change over the original gripen it's practically a new plane.
