Allegedly another Bayraktar downed by Pantsir near Tarhuna.

After that LNA shot down again (!) its own Wing Loong 2 (winglets and turboprop engine on the photos).

GNA seized a body of alleged Wagner PMC fighter.

And a lot of mines left after LNA in south Tripoli. MON-50, MON-90, MON-100, TM-62 and OZM-72. Click on the twitter link to see all photos.

   Interesting thing Yuri Lyamin spotted:

An interesting tank was captured by the PNS near the Libyan Tripoli of the LNA. As far as I know, this is an old Egyptian modernization of the T-54/55, including installation of this characteristic German infrared spotlight from AEG-Telefunken, etc. There were slightly different modernization options. In general, the fact that Egypt was transmitting various old equipment to the forces of Field Marshal Haftar is not a secret, but I have not seen this modification of the tank in Libya before.

Russian government publish a document describing the condition of use of their nuclear weapons:

Sadly it's an image PDF so it's not possible to put it through a translator, though some news sites published some excerpt.

As the conditions of use goes they are pretty similar to those of most other nuclear nations, though as always they are purposely vague and subject to interpretation but pretty much all US anti-missile system and nuclear weapons based in Europe and non-nuclear country in general could be interpreted as a reason to launch a strike (which is again not really different to what other nuclear powers consider a threat).

This is apparently the first time such a document is published publicly in Russia.

GNA is steamrolling in Lybia capturing Tripoli international airport and Molga airbase with at least one Mi-24 and several Agustas (maybe not airworthy but the Mi-24 looks to be in quite a good shape). Also a lot of other ghanima including vehicles.

LNA is on the way of losing any kind of good position for possible diplomatic solution of Libyan conflict. Now, if those are going to happen, solutions could be a frozen conflict or separation into 2 states.

There was a ridiculous incident on Czech-Polish border. In short - Polish army guarding the borders closed due to the coronavirus measures crossed a creek into Czech Republic and set a checkpoint at a chapel some 30 meters inside our country. They blocked the entry of several people who tried to get there (for example a man responsible for chapel's reconstruction). They spent there several days before they finally left.

Linking English article, not the original one so that you can easily understand. Anyway I think that the article makes it a bit more dramatic than it was. People here mostly don't even know about it or make jokes about it.

For me the most funny thing is Poles preventing Czechs from entering a chapel instead of forcing them to enter (Poles are one of the most riligious nations in Europe while Czechs are one of the most atheist nation in the whole world) :D

I am afraid we will need a special thread for the Indian-Chinese quagmire. Yesterday 20 Indian soldiers died in a fight with the Chinese. Some sources say another 45 were captured by the Chinese and 135 wounded. No reports about Chinese casualties except Indian claim about 43 dead and seriously wounded. Some say these massive casualties were result of a hand to hand brawl and falls from high cliff, I don't know.

This site gives the following timeline:

-5th may: 250 Chinese soldier cross the frontier and a stick fight occur with Indian soldiers (according to India)

-16 June: China accuse India to have violated the frontier and conducted "illegal" operations and provoked an attack on Chinese soldiers

-According to India a fight occurs (stick and stones this time) making victims on both sides. One officer (a colonel according to Indian Today) and two soldiers

-Update by the Indian government a few hour later saying that the casualties reached 20 on their side (among those 17 following their injuries)

LNA L-39 made an emergency landing in Nigerian desert close to the Lybian border. The crew was allegedly detained. The plane looks nearly undamaged aside of collapsed front gear. I'd say pretty good result of a landing in the desert!

Egypt is worried about situation in Libya

Quote

During an inspection visit by the Egyptian armed forces to the Western military zone, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stated that “any military intervention by Egypt will be in accordance with the principles of international law” and will be aimed at protecting stability in Libya and maintaining peace in the region.

According to France 24, the Turkish frigate off the coast of Libya refused to comply with the order to inspect cargo from the French frigate participating in the NATO Sea Guardian operation. Avoiding search, the Turkish ship took aim at the French warship using a radar missile guidance system, which the French military department regarded as "extremely hostile and aggressive actions."
