Collimatrix
Found this via gunlab: It's pretty good. I have a few nits to pick with their terminology, but the actual animation is accurate and very detailed.
Meplat
You see, all you need to do is work the lever and the sound of a 30-30 cartridge getting rammed home will send every burglar and Blacktail deer running in a four block radius. (Thuddy-Thuddy's Max range being 1.5 blocks btw) If you were serious, you'd use a Ross, and .303" MkVIIIZ... Belesarius

God I hope it's as good as advertised. I LOVE this style of .22 pistol and it is probably gauche to wait around for my step-dad to leave me his Colt Woodsman. *schoolgirl squeal* Sturgeon

Sturgeon
Inevitable question: this style of pistol in not-.22LR? Anything bigger runs into a bolt mass problem and the receiver becomes huge.

Donward
Ergonomic. Very "pointable" for off-hand target shooting.
Sturgeon
Shame, it's a very pretty design. Roth-Steyr 1907, a centerfire pistol that uses a fully enclosed bolt group. These guns are quite large, and as you can see, very expensive to make because of all the extra milling needed for the receiver.

Sturgeon
And gonky. Hot damn. Ah well, I guess that's the way things pan out. I would say it's actually one of my favorite early selfloading pistols. And while it's certainly a different way to do automatic pistols (and a worse way), I think it accomplishes that way very well. I asked for the check. They insisted I take the pistol, I said "I have many .22 pistols" (at the time, I had six). They pressed... "Look, I have a Colt Match Target, a woodsman and a huntsman. Meplat
"But if you take the pistol, we save $600 in packaging, marketing, etc!" I really should take pics of my "lothar Walter" .22 barrel I grabbed from a Ruger scrap drum, took for a ride in a 1942 Monarch lathe, and then stuck a '70'es era Bushnell Phantom on, for my '50's era AR7.. Yes. I have an original Armalite AR-7, and it has a Lothar Walther Hammer forged 24" tube.. And with my tiny cache of Soviet match ammo, it makes wee groups.. And it makes me smile in it's sheer absurdity. Sturgeon, D.E. Watters, Khand-e and 1 other

I have the '57 swirly green/brown cyclolac,(James Bond) and absurd finish on the metal (an odd baked enamel). I also have a charter and parts for another half-dozen. LoooSeR
lol, Ukrainian Fort company managed to make AKMs worse during "upgrade" programm. Specialists of the Central Missile and Artillery Directorate to verify the information concerning problems in the operation of the modernized plant Vinnitsa "Fort" AK-74. This was reported in the press service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine. Volunteer Roman Donica on his Facebook page wrote that 4 thousand AK-74 were, according to him, corrupted after upgrading. He said that 4 thousand new AK-74 spoiled under the guise of an upgrade for a fortune. Basically Fort took AKMs and AK-74s and "upgraded" them to AKM-TK (ex-AKMs) and AK-TK (ex 74s). 1. They added a new stock, which is hold in place by 3 bolts (M6 and M4x0.5) "After 40-50 shots those bolts unscrew themselfs". Funny part - there are no additional bolts/screws and such bolts are very hard to find in Ukraine. Even if you will manage to not lose them, after 1 mag stock does not hold well, there is a big "play" that makes accurate shooting nearly impossible. 2. Another "upgraded" part is gas tube. Fort changed original and mounted one made by company itself. New gas tube have rails, but the way it mounts make it hard to take it off for cleaning, and after cleaning rifle needs to be zeroed. Angry rant about that: Khand-e and Collimatrix
