terry88
I`ve recently found an interesting article about 3D printer which is used in aerospace area. Have you heard anything about that? This machine allows printing multi-composite parts simultaneously from several materials, which is infeasible in other types of aerospace 3d printing. What kind of different materials? There is number of existing solution for multi-material 3D printing. It's rather commonly available for plastics but you can find metalic or ceramic ones too, albeit I guess that those are crazy expensive. Just google and you'll find a lot of reading about different technologies from different companies. Lord_James and terry88

This 3D printing technology is called additive manufacturing services.https://www.skyrora.com/additive
terry88
The company that invented this 3D printing technology is called Skyrora and this company successfully uses 3D printing technology in manufacturing rocket engines. The third stage for Skyrora XL rocket and found out this rocket engine was made with the usage of additive technology. I can't believe that engines can be made with the help of 3d printer. I`ve never thought that 3d printing couldn't be used for such purposes. However, as I see, the final material is tough enough to handle that kind of stress. terry88
Also, I`d like to add that 3d printing technology is frequently used in the manufacturing of airplanes. I was really surprised when I found out about these pieces of information
terry88
Have you heard about the new special type of rocket fuel that is made from plastic waste? One company uses particular kinds of plastic to remake them in rocket fuel
terry88
What are the most important issues we have now in the space exploration area? As we can see now space explorations are developing very rapidly and by doing this, it causes a lot of issues to solve. Humans have a lot of stuff to figure out to get closer to a particular purpose and which one do you consider is the most important and must be solved first? terry88
And I wanna say that space debris became an important issue nowadays. The big number of space junk can damage expensive spacecrafts The growing number of space items can lead to the state where he object density is so high that one collision is enough to generate a cascade effect, leading to further collisions. terry88
A lot of space projects are about to be launched soon in order to clean the Earth`s orbit from space debris. On the website of space news 2021 I found another ``cleaning`` space mission which is called ‘The Claw’ and it`s gonna be launched in 2025 https://www.skyrora.com/blog/uk-space-news
terry88
Today space debris became rather an important issue to be solved in the space exploration area. That is why a lot of space companies wanna make some ``cleaning`` missions to clean the Earth`s orbit from this space junk. So could you please name some ``cleaning`` missions which are about to be launched in the nearest time?
Sturgeon
@terry88 please explain to me why everyone born in 1988 is too retarded to keep stuff to one thread?
