The Soviet Tank Thread: Transversely Mounted 1000hp Engines
Sgt.Squarehead replied to T___A's topic in Mechanized Warfare
Anyone have anything on the Georgian T-72SIM-1? What was it before the upgrade, it looks kind of like a T-72AV to me, but I'd be interested to hear from someone who knows?- 5,222 replies

Well, I can't do that, but I think I've already provided links to an evidence trail that is a lot more convincing than anything we've seen from the 'Dog & Pony Show'. Well I suppose if you count a few hundred thousand spent on FB ads etc. I suppose I must concede that they did, just a little bit, but the whole 'Russian Hackers' thing is a crock and it's connected directly to several other crocks, as I've demonstrated elsewhere.

Russia did not try to influence your elections, it was a cabal within your & our intelligence services, as we both know perfectly well.....Why waste time commenting on what is quite obviously a 'Dog & Pony Show' for the benefit of the unthinking masses, isn't this place just a bit better than that?

It seems we're not the only ones with rogue elements of our intelligence agencies operating to an agenda of their own: https://disobedientmedia.com/2018/05/cia-undermines-north-korea-summit-by-leaking-report-to-media-asset/

The terrible movies and reviews thread
Sgt.Squarehead replied to Toxn's topic in Fiction & Entertainment
I've been telling you that for over a year now! I felt the same way about the Mortal Engines books.....My cousins bought them for me and TBH I was a bit skecptical at first, but I read them anyway (I'll read anything if I'm bored enough) and thoroughly enjoyed them.- 724 replies

Does anyone else find this a bit worrying? http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2018/06/05/yes-trump-can-pardon-himself-and-lefts-endless-quest-for-magic-bullets-to-stop-him-wont-work.html

Pretty sure the add-on armour was just steel & rubber, no ceramics to be seen on this one. Was hoping there might be more info on (& pictures of) the Enigma.....I'm just gathering references for a build (1/72 as usual). Here's some decent pics from Wiki of the Bovington example: Close up of Turret 'NERA':

Please, oblige them.

Nope, that was probably us.....Probably working on your behalf, but definitely no Russians (unless they live in the US & work for the DNC). If Tommy dominated the British coverage of events, I certainly didn't notice him.....Not that I watched much of it TBH, only what couldn't otherwise be avoided.

It was a very big letter.....So surely it has to be nice?

As things currently stand I'm starting to wonder if the EU is going to be around long enough for this to become an issue.....We're out already, Italy could go at just one more wrong call from Germany, Spain is fracturing, Greece has been looted.....Basically the EU is fucked!

So really we are in fact coming at exactly the same thing from opposite sides (I to the left, you to the right), but our mutual ire is far more focussed on the liberal establishment than on each other.....Interesting times, eh compadre?

Cheers.....So it turns out we aren't thinking very differently about his election at all. My thoughts match your own very closely: But how do you guys feel about the man himself.....I'd kinda feel safer if it had been Bernie.

Could you quantify that for me? It's quite difficult to grasp the US perspective on all this for me as an outsider.

Terror Attacks and Active Shooter Events Thread

I believe this is a witness description rather than an authoritative statement.....As I said above, it is entirely possible that it was a SMG, it wouldn't be the first time, here's a 2016 story: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/04/21/gun-running-gang-convicted-after-largest-seizure-of-automatic-we/ Another from 2008, slightly different MO: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2634223/Guns-converted-using-basic-tools-bought-on-eBay.html & the granddaddy from back in 1999: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/firearms-dealer-linked-to-130-crimes-1075264.html IIRC the weapons from this one turned up in all manner of interesting places. -
I kind of wondered that myself TBH, but he's just collating facts, the research has been done by many others, with vastly more convincing backgrounds.
