The T-72 here appears to be the same one seen captured in the post above this one. Seems like there was a good amount of armor available for this attack. I count 4 different T-72s and just as many BMP-1s.- 1,345 replies

Underside definitely looks like it was designed with mine resistance in mind, which isn't too surprising I suppose. 0:43 in the video gives a good look.

That's an interesting idea. I can't immediately think of any other vehicles that would deploy smoke for disembarking infantry like that, rather than just for the vehicle itself.
