You can get some (sadly not all) field manuals here: http://militera.lib.ru/regulations/1/new/old.html There are some here too, I think they have all the levels that the previous link doesn't have: http://knigi.tor2.net/index.php?id=2965327

Also the Red Army hasn't existed for a few decades by the time the T-64 was in production.- 5,225 replies

What is this, early 1941 MG ball on a T-34-85? No tank rider rails? External fuel tanks mounted in combat? Burn this heresy and make it again!- 5,225 replies

Ukrainian armor - Oplot-M, T-64M Bulat and other.
EnsignExpendable replied to LoooSeR's topic in Mechanized Warfare
Glorious Dozor-B vehicle entered production! By which I mean they almost finished assembling one, in a year, whereas the order was for 100 units. And yet the Ministry of Defense claims that the Ukrainian defense industry will overtake the Russian defense industry by 2020. -
Yeah it's a two-switch system, the wall switch controls the fan and the light and then there are two pull cords for the light and the fan. I usually just leave the fan on because fuck it.
-
And that's why "more German than Germans" earned its spot on the Wehrabingo board.
-
Pull cords are awful. My ceiling fan has a pull cord and three speed settings, and there is no way to find out which setting it's on, so turning it off is a matter of trial and error.

Were Shermans Called "Ronsons"? No, They Weren't
EnsignExpendable replied to Sturgeon's topic in Mechanized Warfare
I busted another Sherman myth today, specifically the story about how Shermans were so good that the 1st Mechanized Corps threw away all of their T-34s and replaced them with Shermans before attacking Berlin. Except oops, turns out the medium tank brigades of the 1st Mechanized Corps have been composed of Shermans for months at that point, and I never actually found any record of a T-34 in that unit. -

Hey guys, the Marder II is a good tank and all, but what if it looked dumb as fuck and was worse in every way? Luckily, the designers of the FlakBus school of thought have just the TD for you. More photos of this disaster here.

I wish I could find a high rez picture of the exploding Hitler from Besposhadniy, it would make a good signature.

That's a lot of words, none of which support your thesis that there is a correlation between unit unrest and invasions of the Ukraine. You have not linked to "well researched vettable strong paper". You are trying to form a correlation based on one data point. You need more. A lot more. You claimed to have them, where are they?
-
If you don't like the media, you could read thousands of people's livejournals that live and breathe the conflict. Your suspicion of Russian TV is absolutely no reason to dismiss Russian language sources. By the way, I'm still waiting for reports of dissent in all those other Russian units you insist are in the Ukraine. Or is the 76th VDV somehow special?
-
You have yet to show me information about dissent and desertion in other units, which you promised you could. If you want to show correlation between such dissent and the Ukrainian conflict, you can't stop at one example. You're saying that Russian citizens are a source? Okay, as a citizen of the Russian Federation I will tell you that serving in the Russian army as a conscript is horrible and people go to great lengths in order to avoid it, or once they're in, to great lengths to not do any work. Then maybe gather more information before posting? Right now you're building a correlation on one data point, which is absolutely ridiculous.
