LoooSeR
Quote The official representative of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Mismari, said that the counterattack of pro-government troops loyal to the Government of National Accord (PNS) of Libya Faiz Saraj failed. “Armed groups failed to regain their positions in Tripoli by a counterattack. The clashes are now taking place on the outskirts of the capital, and we continue the offensive, ”the general said. Earlier today, the Government of National Accord, under the leadership of Fayez Saraj, announced the launch of a counter-offensive military operation “Vulcan of Wrath” against the Libyan National Army under the leadership of Khalifa Haftar. “We are launching a military operation“ Volcano of Wrath ”to cleanse Libyan cities from those who are outlawed,” said the representative of the armed forces of the government, Muhammad Kanun. At the same time, the TV channel Al Arabiya reports that the Libyan national army under the command of Khalifa Haftar is already conducting an offensive against the eastern regions of Tripoli. Also reported on the application of the first airstrikes on the suburbs of Tripoli.

Alzoc
Fire is still going on at 21h30 and the tower has collapsed Apparently the fire started because of the renovation work. Thankfully, no injuries to report yet, however due the structural weakness of the building the firemen cannot attack the fire directly from above unless risking a collapse and the water jet they use don't have enough reach to properly control the fire. They now fear that it might propagate to the northern tower. LostCosmonaut and Lord_James

Pascal
On 4/15/2019 at 12:15 PM, Ramlaen said: I really hope it wasn't arson. Notre Dame was still burning and french officials ruled out arson, even before the investigation of the fire started. There was an Algerian arab woman under investigation who was arrested in front of Notre Dame with fuel canisters in her car. After two days that she was arrested, Notre Dame started burning. Second biggest and important church Saint-Sulpice accidentally started burning too. St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Houilles statue of the Virgin Mary was found smashed, and the altar cross had been thrown on the ground. February, at Saint-Alain Cathedral in Lavaur, in south-central France, an altar cloth was burned and crosses and statues of saints were smashed. The attack prompted Lavaur Mayor Bernard Canyon to say in a statement: “God will forgive. Not me.” City of Nimes, near the Spanish border, vandals looted the altar of the church of Notre-Dame des Enfants and smeared a cross with human excrement. It's just an accident, some alt-right conspiracies i tell you!
LoooSeR
Yuri Lyamin: Quote Field Marshal Haftar seems to be pushing almost all his forces to attack Tripoli. In recent days, there has been intensification of armed groups of the Tuba people fighting against Khaftar in southern Libya, as well as militants of the IS in central Libya. It looks like an all or nothingtype of bet. Reinforcements: Spoiler Quote Among them is the so-called 302nd battalion of special forces "Sayka". It is "Special forces" unit only in a name, but this is one of the most combat-ready units of the LNA, which fought for Haftar in Benghazi, Derna, the “oil crescent” region, etc.
