Don't worry, Canada already has way tougher gun laws than us toothless hillbillies to your south. Maybe if the make the laws even more restrictive than they are now, it will stop more people from breaking the law.

Toronto is Bele's home town.  This really isn't the time or place.

In articles I've read on the Toronto incident, it sounds like there's been an increase in the level of shootings / murders in Toronto (though still pretty slim compared to somewhere like Chicago). Is this gang related (and if so, why the increase in gang activity), or just random shit?

Also, have there been any developments on that incel that ran over a bunch of people a few months back?

It's also an area that friends and family hang out in.

:(

I'll refrain from replying to that for now. A 10 year old girl from a neighborhood I frequent regularly was just killed. I don't think I'm capable of responding to Ulrics comment in a reasoned and proportionate manner.

Some of it's gang related, some of it appears to be just random shit.

Dunno what this particular shitlords beef is.

Cops need to step up the anti gang activity though. Looks like they might need a lesson on why this shit doesn't fly up here.

It's been announced that the shooter was a long time sufferer from mental illness. Psychosis of some sort.

The whole situation sucks, was he crazy and wanted the fame like many of our shooters or...

On the mental health thing, "Fazzel Hussain's family said he "had severe mental health challenges, struggling with psychosis and depression his entire life", has this been confirmed, or are we going just the word from his family?   Every story I read basically has this same quote, and it would not be the first time the western media tried to cover up religious motivations.

ISIL has 'claimed responsibility' for the shooting.

Except for the fact that the shooter has no known claims to ISIL/ISIS and was investigated by the TPS back in 2010 for mental health issues.

ISIS leftovers also claimed responsibility for a small explosion in a shop not far from my previous job, which also was done by crazy person. "ISIS took responsibility for X" is a sort of meme in some of our internet communities.

MOSCOW, July 31 (Itar-Tass) - RIA Novosti. The terrorist group "Islamic State" took responsibility for the attack on foreign tourists in Tajikistan, whose victims were four people, according to the American SITE Intelligence Group, a leading monitoring information activity of extremists.

On the evening of July 29, seven foreign tourists, citizens of the United States, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, and Germany rode on bicycles. Suddenly they are knocked down by a black car.

This was not just an accident. Having made a run-around, the driver of the car turned around and began to purposefully crush the fallen cyclists. Then people came out of the car and began to finish off the victims with the help of firearms and knifes, and then fled the scene of the crime.

As a result of the incident, four people were killed, two more were injured of varying degrees of severity. Most lucky was Frenchman, he fell behind the group, and at the time of the tragedy, he was not on the road at all.

The driver who hit the tourists disappeared from the scene. During the operative-search activities, a Dewoo-Leganza car was found, on which a group of attackers on foreign cyclists had previously been driven.

Law enforcement agencies liquidated three suspects in an attack on foreign tourists, which occurred last Sunday, RIA Novosti reported to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.

In St. Petersburg, a migrant was arrested, sponsoring militants in Syria. For a year and a half, she transferred terrorists more than 800 thousand rubles

A migrant from Uzbekistan, a 39-year-old accountant, lived in the Northern Capital for a year and a half. All this time she transferred money to the accounts of the organization "Islamic State" banned in the territory of Russia.

On the morning of August 1, policemen from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs together with colleagues from the center "E" detained her and opened a criminal case under the article "financing of terrorism".

9 ISIS recruiters arrested in Kaliningrad.

Not the first time ISIS recruiters were arrested in Kaliningrad. Last time it was in May of this year (8 of those shitheads)
