    Before HTS takeover of Idlib, the local councils in Opp areas technically belonged to the Interim Gov tho its influence was minimal. Purpose of Interim Gov would centralize the Syrian Opp and replace militia control with civil administration, 6 years and still useless.
   As Turkey becomes directly involved on behalf of Opp and aims to limit HTS, Interim Gov would be seen as the alternative. Is Turkey interested in continuing support for Opp? No. Its focus is on 2 things now; combatting YPG/PYD and putting out fire on its border.
   If Interim Gov is allowed to operate it will be limited to regrouping Opp into one body and begin dialogue with Russia/Damascus. The question now is whether AQ/HTS will 'evaporate' or be be thrown under the bus by Turkey and taken out militarily. The Syrian Opposition that emerged in 2011 (and before) has ceased to exist, Turkey's foreign policy is now merging with Russia's and Iran's

   Pleasant news about the pilot who crashed in Turkey in March. A Syrian pilot, detained by the Turkish military after he catapulted in March 2017 in Turkey, was released, his lawyer said this evening.

   Colonel Mohammad Sufan of the Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) was released by the 3rd Turkish court in the province of Hatay after the mediation of the Russian military. The Turkish authorities are completing the transfer of Colonel Sufan from Hatay province to Syria.
