Eliz reacted to Atokara in Ukrainian armor - Oplot-M, T-64M Bulat and other.
If your only criticism of Oryx is that they are slow then idk what to tell you. This is their current backlog which includes both RU and UKR vehicles.
Also you're full of it on the waiting a week or two for the Bulat in the field since it was uploaded the day it was lost
From what i can remember the guy behind Oryx worked as a consultant with ASELSAN prior to all this. Regardless where does he even give analysis on any of the losses he posts? He literally just posts the photos with dates and compiles it all in one place which is about as objective as you can get. Also if what you're saying qualifies someone on the subject, one of the largest anti-Oryx voices is a guy literally named armchair warlord who tried to claim that a T-72 Obr. 2016 picture was from the war in 2014, found 5 actual errors (that have been corrected) out of thousands, then hid his profile .

MTU 8V199 TE20 but it may be changed for production vehicles. HSW is looking for complete replacement for MTU engines because they're expensive in terms of both service and purchase.

Eliz reacted to SH_MM in Polish Armoured Vehicles
According to earlier reports, it is fitted with a 600 kW MTU engine, so likely the 8V199 (also used on Ajax and Boxer).

Eliz reacted to David Moyes in Italian’s car
Official literature lists only one.
In a H-Drive system I believe that a differential-like component for an individual wheel would be classified as a (limiter/reducer?) gearbox.

Eliz reacted to Gauntlet in Anti-air thread: Everything that goes up must come down, and we'll help you go down
Thank you for sharing. Awesome video. They also mentioned Hollandse signaalapparaten (HS). A predecessor to the now called company Thales Netherlands. The IX83 system and the flycatcher system of HS seem to make the basis of the goalkeeper. Interesting to see the video.

Does anyone know anymore then this video about this system? Google search leads to nothing

Eliz reacted to Scolopax in Anti-air thread: Everything that goes up must come down, and we'll help you go down
This seems to be the prototype of the system that would go on to become Goalkeeper and find use in the Dutch navy. I don't have much of anything else beyond that, but I suppose some digging into the history of Goalkeeper could give you more.
