The other issue is that anyone who legitimately points out issues that males are facing are labeled as MRAs and derided for even entertaining those ideas, even if they are a female. To a certain degree, I feel that 3rd wave feminism has contributed to this problem of mass shootings.

I listened to this last night. The guest was talking about the manifesto, he did not have any inside information.

Apparently there was a attempted mass shooting in Bærum, Norway. 

 

A guy armed with a shotgun and a pistol, plus some other guns shot up a Mosque, but luckily failed to kill anyone, and was subdued by a 75 year old man.

He is now charged with attempted murder of three people. 

 

He was a ethnically white Norwegian man in his early 20s. He has no previous notable crime record and lives in the same area as the Mosque. 
He wore a NATO sweater (Norwegian army sweater) and a bullet proof vest. 
The media really wanted to hammer in the fact that he was ethnically Norwegian and white.

The militants were armed with AKs with GPs, several PKM, PKT, RPK and RPG-7/18 grenade launchers.

   All passages were barricaded, IEDs based on MON-90 were installed in the gym, as well as on the basis of OZM-72 mines.

   Terrorists had plans of school, before attack some of them and several of their informers gathered intel on internal layout of school. During the attack several terrorist were in the crowd before main group arrived.

   School was chosen based on terrorist ability to defend it. Large open field around school for observation and fire, thick walls, complicated internal layout, tall building allowed for better angles of fire.

   Children and adults were taken to the gym. Male teacher executed in front of the hostages. Bombs were planted around main group of hostages inside of the gym section of school. Adult males and older boys were "conscripted" to be placed in book cases, desks, etc. in front of doors and windows.

   By the end of the first day, doctor Leonid Roshal arrived at the school for negotiations, but the militants refused to negotiate with him, as well as take food and water for the hostages.

   At 16:00, the president of Ingushetia, Ruslan Aushev, entered the school, the only negotiator face to face with the militants. The result was that militants released 26 people (women with babies). But the militants refused to take water and food for the hostages, which the head of the republic requested. As survivors later recalled, by that time the children were trying to eat the flowers they brought on September 1 and were drinking water from the garbage cans. Then the terrorists banned it, offering them to drink their own urine.

   On the night of September 3, several shots were fired from the school’s side, and a policeman was wounded.

   At 13:05 in the area of the school two powerful explosions thundered. At 13:19 a third explosion was heard.
   At 13:30 a part of the roof collapsed in the school gym, under the wreckage of which many hostages died. Through the opening in the wall and windows, people began to run out. Hostages began to scatter from the school building after the explosions, and fire from machine guns was opened at them, which killed another 29 people.

   Almost immediately, the TsSN FSB groups were ordered to liquidate the militants and proceed to rescue the hostages. The advance of special forces was hindered by the fact that the militants used the hostages as a human shield, as well as prepared firing positions at different places in the school, as well as barricades.

   Assault groups moved from several directions: a dining room and workshops, a library and a gym. Also, units advanced into the courtyard to the walls of the gym.

   At 15:05, the main forces of the TsSN of Federal Security Service, which had previously been at another school and practiced the assault on a similar building, entered the fray. For fire support, the officers of the Center used 8 BTR-80 from the 58th army.

Firing over their heads, the terrorists began to retreat deep into the building towards the classes. When one of the terrorists, hiding in the pantry, threw a grenade at the hostages, Vympel lieutenant Andrei Turkin covered it with his body.

   As a result of the clash, some of the terrorists were destroyed, while others were thrown down to the flight of stairs; three militants managed to break into the assembly hall. During combat inside of the school, Major Perov was covering special forces group, but suddenly a terrorist appeared from the opposite side and opened fire in the back of the officers. He destroyed terrorist, but he himself was mortally wounded. He was awarded the star of the Hero of the Russian Federation (posthumously).

3. Oleg Ilyin (“Skala”/ "Rock") - lieutenant colonel, head of 4th fireteam of 3rd department of the Directorate “V” of the TsSN FSB of Russia. Initially acting in the schoolyard, Oleg Ilyin with his subordinates diverted the fire of terrorists who shot at the escaping hostages. In this battle he was wounded, but remained in action. Then he burst into the school building, where he discovered another group of terrorists ready to break out of school. In a fierce battle with point-blank fire, he destroyed two militants. Distracting the attention of the bandits on himself, he saved the life of the soldiers following him and ensured by his actions the complete destruction of this group of terrorists. In this battle, Colonel Ilyin was killed. He was awarded the star of the Hero of the Russian Federation (posthumously).

When one of the terrorists, hiding in the pantry, threw a grenade at the hostages, the officer rushed and covered grenade with his body. He was awarded the star of the Hero of the Russian Federation (posthumously).

5. Mikhail Kuznetsov ("Domovoy") - FSB major. During the special operation, he evacuated more than 20 wounded hostages, mainly children.    The area adjacent to the building was cordoned off. The bandits who were in the house were asked to lay down their arms and surrender to the authorities. In response, they opened fire on law enforcement officers and were neutralized during the combat. At the site of the shootout, a home-made explosive device, machine guns, and ammunition ready for use was discovered.

 

   The personalities of the militants are indentified. According to reports, they intended to commit terrorist crimes in the Republic.

   There are no casualties among law enforcement officials and civilian casualties.

   On the left - Amnesty international article from 2010 about Akmed being a subject for forced expulsion from Ukraine to Russia where he can face "torture s" and similar shit and Amnesty demanded from Ukraine to help him to get refugee status in Austria.
