Torpedoes also use alot of cool as shit fuels or other power sources.

The Mk 50 uses a tank with a small spray nozzle of Sulfur Hexafluoride that's sprayed over pure blocks of Lithium which starts a chemical reaction that generates alot of heat, the heat generates steam that runs in a closed Rankine cycle, which in turn powers the hydrojet style engines, this makes the Mk 50 really goddamn fast for a torpedo even at great depths.

This is a really expensive system though, hence why the Mk 54 exists.

Roundabout a '50 Caddy with a grille job, and a radical channel with a skosh of chop.

Sad thing is, I bet there is a SBC under the hood, driving a TH700R4, instead of a proper flathead mill and synchro column or floor manual.

The old 348 flathead is capable of massive torque. The ones I dealt with, you could drive them around in third gear all day.
