The same armour plates are used in APC Rosomak ( polonisated AMV whit Hitfist-30P turret) -without problem. More or less acording to polish sources the problem is shitty technical culture in ukrainian factor - precisly - bad heating and cooling armour plate before and after welding. In case modern ARMSTAL and ARMOX plate there are some diffrences during welding preapering proces...

Exacly the same problem had (un)famosu BTR-3 for Iraq - cracking armour plates...now Dozor-B (which is polish "Mista"/Ocilla project...).

This was obvious, that the problem was on Ukrainian side.

Upgraded observation device TPN1-49-23 for T-64 is test by experts of "Kharkov Armoured Plant", which is part of the "Ukroboronprom" state corporation. This system can recognize a tank, a car or a person, during day and night at a distance of up to 3000 m. It is achieved by using a thermal imaging channel, based on an uncooled microbolometer. Also at the testing station diesel engines with computer data acquisition system for upgraded engine 5TDF for T-64 tanks and its modifications. With this engine driving performance and service life of combat vehicle significantly increased. The State Enterprise "Kharkov Armoured Works" plans to give Ukrainian Army 14 units of T-80 and 21 units of modernized T-64 to the end of the first half of this year.
