Integrating ADS in the armor saves 50% weight compared to the existing version; some of this weight saving is used for the armor plating providing STANAG level 5 protection (or at least it is possible to reach this level; front and back plate each of the integrated ADS version both provide STANAG level 2 protection and act as spaced armor). When this module does not replace the existing side armor, the addition of the new armor plates reduce the weight saving to about 35%. For operating without a connection to the internal power, an alternative is being planned/developed utilizing a battery for 24 hours of operation.

AAV-P7A1 CATFAE (Catapult launched Fuel Air Explosives). Troop carrying capabilities were exchanged for 21 fuel-air ordnance launchers for the purpose of clearing minefields and other obstacles during an amphibious assault.

The M60 was still considered an upgradable, if obsolescent, tank. The Centurion was considered obsolete and at the end of its service life. On the other hand, the torsion bar suspension of the M60 was not as well liked as the Horstmann suspension of the Centurion which was seen as easier to repair and more suited to the rough terrain of the Golan. Given this, it was always more likely that the Centurion would be the vehicle likely to be retasked.

Vickers MARRS (Modular Armored Repair & Recovery System), the basic idea is that a MBT (here a Patton) can be quickly converted into an ARV at less than half the cost of a new purpose-built ARV.

My friends went to Koblenz and took these pictures:
They asked about the penetration of DM33, but apparently it's still being used by Japan so it's "classified"(surprisingly not other coutries).
Otherwise he'd be allowed to share it.

Same with the AEV 2 Canada (armoured engineer vehicle Wiesent 2 not Bergepanzer 2!). Also this attached armour was developed, qualified and manufactured from KMW! Ask FFG whether one part is from IBD.
