There is quite a bit of hate for rotating barrel pistols, some of it warranted. The late Todd Green's tales of PX4 freezing shut and requiring a mallet to field strip is... not encouraging. The earlier cougars apparently don't have a stellar reputation either. What I'm wondering is whether there's some reason that a rotating barrel would suck. If there is a reason it would suck, it's not obvious to me. Mostly because rotating barrels just aren't that different from tilting ones.
