They have a lot of old optics lying about in different kind of military storage, but you need to train the whole lot first by using those optics, but if you don't get them for training why bother at all. But most importantly try getting those optics from storage personnel first, that's without considering the special format batteries that you will need. First part very hard, second part close to impossible.

LoooSeR
Some AN-94 quirks were noted in that video by KC: Accuracy of 2 shot burst becomes worse when you grib rifle harder. Also, mounting rifle on the ground when prone is not an option - because of canted magazine rifle can't be rested. Clearing jammed cases is harder than on AK, although not impossible. Sling attachment on rifle stock is placed way to close to shooter's nose. In Ian's video about AN-94 it looks like he disassembled rifle in a wrong way. LoooSeR
New Russian pistol in 9x19 will be shown at Army 2020. Looks like it is based on "Udav" 9x21mm pistol. Quote A new compact pistol "Poloz" was created in Russia. The Central Institute of Precision Engineering (TsNIITOCHMASH, part of Rostec) has created a new self-loading compact pistol "Poloz" for employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Rosgvardia, the press service of the state corporation told RIA Novosti. "Poloz" is designed for shooting at a range of up to 50 meters. It can operate in conditions of both ultra-high and ultra-low temperatures, from minus 50 to plus 50 degrees Celsius. 9x19-mm pistol cartridges are used as ammunition. Magazine capacity - 15 or 18 rounds. The resource is not less than 10.000 shots. As the general director of the institute Albert Bakov explained to the agency, the former weapon - the Makarov pistol - did not suit the operatives either in terms of power or ammunition (eight rounds). The new pistol is smaller and lighter than the standard army model and can be used as a concealed carry weapon. “The modular design allows for replacement of the handle without replacing the main parts and the use of magazines of different capacities. It is convenient, reliable and unpretentious in use, which is extremely important for operational services personnel, ”Bakov quotes Rostec. The creation of the pistol is carried out within the framework of the initiative development work "Poloz". The pistol will be shown to the general public at the Army-2020 International Military-Technical Forum. Weapons are presented statically at the company's stand in the Rostec Demonstration Center, and dynamically - at the shooting range of the Patriot Park's Multifunctional Firing Center. LoooSeR
https://vk.com/onokoy?w=wall-185869580_2078 Vladimir Onokoy about AK-19 Quote ... Actually, the development of the AK-19 and the modernization of the AK-12 went in parallel, so that all new elements can be installed on the AK-12. By the way, a modified version of the AK-12 will be at the exhibition, in the public domain. I like the new stock - light, smoothly adjustable. I'm thinking of buying one for my saiga, but I don't want to get used to good things. This buttstock appeared not yesterday, it has already passed tests as part of another weapon. So everyone who was embarrassed by the stock pipe on the AK can finally breathe easy. The handle and trigger guard are very interesting. And naturally, it's not just about convenience, but also about manufacturability. In general, the evolution of AK continues, and it is very pleasant to follow it from the front rows. ... Beer
The old Czechoslovak Vz.52/57 was also an LMG which could have been fed either from magazines (25) or a belt (50 or 100). It was actually a successful design fielded by the army and later copied by the Finns to become the KK62.
