More satellite pics of the damage to the Al Asad base. Two missiles hit a taxiway and a runway, those likely missed. The rest is direct hits into many hangars/buildings. It's very probable that some aircraft were destroyed or damaged either by direct hits or by shrapnels.

Allegedly the missiles used in the strike were mobile Zulfaghar ones. That's an improved Fatteh-110, i.e. something even the Lebanese Hezbollah likely posses.

   The Boeing 737-800 of Ukraine’s International Airlines, flying from Tehran to Kiev, crashed shortly after leaving the airport on Wednesday morning. Killed all 176 people on board: 167 passengers from Iran, Ukraine, Canada, Germany, Sweden and Afghanistan, as well as nine crew members.

 

   On Saturday, the Iranian armed forces admitted that the Ukrainian Boeing was shot down unintentionally. The tragedy occurred due to a human factor: the plane flew close to a military facility. It was mistaken for an enemy cruise missile. The air defense system operator had a malfunctioning communication: it took about ten seconds to decide on the strike, and the military made the wrong choice. The Iranian President expressed his condolences in connection with the disaster and said that he deeply regrets.

   First missile detonated few seconds after launch on low altitude, which is visible on the video.

I disagree.  The first missile detonated few seconds after the booster engine stopped after 18 seconds of flight. The second one detonated after 10 seconds of flight. The perception of different altitude is given by the fact that the plane was going towards the Tor position, i.e. the trajectory of the second missile logically had to be more steep to reach similar altitude.

   One of Iranian top scientists was killed in Hollywood-esq ambush.

   Exactly 10 years ago, another specialist in the Iranian nuclear program was killed in a car bomb explosion. According to Israeli media reports, several years ago, Fakhrizada managed to survive during an assassination attempt on his life.

   UPD: it is reported that Fakhrizade died as a result of a shootout, which was staged by unknown persons with the scientist's bodyguards after the VBIED was blown up
