So this went under the radar but 11 days ago UVZ released a video about the delivery of T-90M, showing more of those at the production line. But on the production line there were also 1 or 2 serial T-14.

So, if these 2 are real T-14, then until now we can confirm the completion of 5-6 serial T-14.

All the shortcomings of the 2V-12-3A engine of the “Armata” family have been corrected by Russian engineers.

User complaints were the reason for the modernization. An improved version of the engine was presented at the Army 2023 forum.

The 2V-12-3A engine of the “Armata” family can be found on the T-14 tank and T-15 HIFV, as well as the T-16 armored repair and recovery vehicle. The engine is X-shaped design and runs on diesel fuel.

The power unit was created by specialists from the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant. It took the motorists several years to eliminate all shortcomings. As a result, Russian engineers managed to solve the problems of increased fuel consumption and oil consumption - the updated engine tingles with more economical figures.

“There are also no more difficulties with heat removal. Plus, the motor has become more tolerant of severe overloads.”

An armored tanker based on the Armata has been designed in Russia.

Specialists from the Military Academy of Logistics named after General of the Army A.V. Khrulev have designed an armored tanker based on the T-15 Armata universal tracked platform, which makes it possible to deliver fuel to the front line even under enemy heavy weapons fire. This is stated in the description of the utility model for the patent, which is available to TASS.

“The fuel tank and technological equipment are installed and rigidly fixed inside the armored hull of a Russian armored vehicle based on the T-15 Armata heavy universal tracked platform. The booking feature of this tanker is that the crew with controls are located in an isolated armored capsule, separated from the rest of the armored bulkhead. The engine-transmission compartment is also separated by an armored bulkhead from the processing equipment. Presumably, this makes the armored tanker unusually survivable even in the event of multiple damage to the armor," the document says.

The developers propose using new armor steel with ceramic inserts for multilayer armor. “Armor with ceramic inserts absorbs the energy of the projectile due to the destruction of the ceramic element and the movement of the remaining ceramic elements in the plane of the armor, which leads to the conversion of the axial shock impulse into an impulse in the plane of the armor,” they explained.
