Are you sure that isn't a K1?  I did not think the K2 had torsion bar suspension.

It appears yes to be a K1, look at the engine deck. The K1 has two circular intakes and two round "hatches" on the sponsons, and altogether looks clean:

While the K2 has square intakes and a more detailed engine deck:

Edit: Ninja'ed lol

Oh and a quick question:

Does anyone know the thickness of the composite armor on the front of the hull on the Strv 122B?

By comparing the thickness of the add on armor with the base armor I got around 410mm for the add on armor, which means a combined thickness of around 1050mm.

2 prototypes are in production (1 in Indonesia and 1 in Turkey), they will be finished in 2017. Vehicle is nothing really interesting, classic layout, torsion bar suspension, crew of 3, steel armor and layered armor modules. Turret is CMI Defence CT-CV with CMI Defence 105mm rifled (?) gun and 7.62 coax, gun will be autoloader. Gun eleveation is +42 degr AFAIK and depression is -10 degr. FCS is modern and what you expect from it, also thermal imager for both gunner and commander. NBC, automatic firefighting system, GPS, laser sensors, cameras, etc.

"So far, two natures of 40 mm ammunition have been developed for the system. The first of these is the 40 mm high-explosive (HE) round, that is designated CS/BTE3 and has a muzzle velocity of 1,000 m/s.

The second is the 40 mm armour-piercing fin-stabilised discarding sabot (APFSDS), which is designated CS/BAA3. This has a muzzle velocity of 1,450 m/s, and it is claimed that it will penetrate 130 mm of rolled homogenous armour at a range of 1,000 m."
