Breaking: Syrian Army and Hezbollah Officially Capture the Strategic Town of Jabal Al-Eiss in Southern Aleppo

It was a long night in Jabal Al-Eiss for both the Syrian Armed Forces and the Islamist rebels from Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham as they battled for this strategic town located 5km east of the Damascus-Aleppo Highway (M-5).

With Jabal Al-Eiss about to fall to the Syrian Armed Forces, Iraqi/Iranian paramilitary units, and Hezbollah, the Islamist rebels from Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham made a desperate plea for reinforcements to help push back the encroaching enemy combatants; however, this proved too little too late as the pro-government forces overpowered them and seized this integral town.

Following the loss of Jabal Al-Eiss to the pro-government forces, the Islamist rebels from Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham and Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki suffered another loss; this time, it was the small hilltop village of Tal Bajjar, which is located just south of Jabal Al-Eiss and southwest of the strategic city of Al-Hadher.

According to a military correspondent on the ground with the Syrian Arab Army’s 4th Mechanized Division, the Syrian Armed Forces, Hezbollah, and their Iraqi/Iranian allies have taken control of 341 square kilometers of territory since early October in southern Aleppo.

As a result of their success in southern Aleppo, the Syrian Armed Forces and their allies have paved the way for their reentry into the Idlib Governorate; this same province that they were forced to withdraw from over the summer.

A minute of butthurtz

Regime forces have entered Marj Al-Sultan Airbase,if captured, then the Ghouta will be surrounded from all directions

and the ghouta towns and suburbs will be effectively under siege from all directions, all that the fault of incompetant Zahran Alloush

under effective fire and military siege,so Douma instead of being under attack from the west, will be under attack from the east

Marj Al-Sultan is about to fall, this means doom for the ghouta, looks the regime will recapture the ghouta

Islamist Rebel Defenses Collapsing in Southern Aleppo: Two More Villages Captuted by the Syrian Army and Hezbollah

The bad news keeps coming for the Islamist rebels of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, the Syrian Al-Qaeda group “Jabhat Al-Nusra”, Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki, and Liwaa Suqour Al-Sham as they concede another set of villages to the combined forces of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), Hezbollah, National Defense Forces (NDF), and the Iraqi/Iranian paramilitary units in the southern Aleppo countryside.

Immediately following the loss of the strategic town of Jabal Al-‘Eiss to the pro-government forces, the Islamist rebels of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham and Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki had their backs against the ropes at the large village of Banes in southern Aleppo; this unfortunate situation for the Islamist rebels caused them to lose the aforementioned village after the Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah attacked its northern perimeter.

To make matters worse for the Islamist rebels, the Syrian Armed Forces and Lebanese Resistance pushed their way into the nearby village of Rasm Al-Sahreej, where they were confronted by a small contingent of fighters from Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki, and Jabhat Al-Nusra.

With two more villages under their control, the Syrian Armed Forces and their allies have now captured over 370 square kilometers of territory from the Islamist rebels of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham and Jabhat Al-Nusra since early October of this year.
