   Over the past few days, rumors circulated that the  "Qods" Revolutionary Guards of Iran Forces Commander, Major General Qasem Suleimani is now in Aleppo and perhaps personally coordinates allied forces of the Syrian army, Shiite volunteers, Lebanese "Hezbollah" and the Revolutionary Guards of Iran with the support of VKS of Russia in their offensive against militants. And today, a photograph of Gen. Suleimani appear with Iraqi Shiite militia fighters "Harakat al-Nudjaba" , nearAleppo. And if geolocation is true, it means that he speaks at a mosque of the Al-Hader, wich was freed only in November 12 from the militant groups "Ahrar al-Sham" and "Jebhat Al-Nusra".

   Syrian Army Seizes the Al-Katf Mountains Near the Idlib-Latakia Border

    Last week, the Syrian Arab Army’s 103rd Brigade of the Republican Guard – in coordination with the National Defense Forces (NDF) of Qurdaha, the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP), and Muqawama Souri (Syrian Resistance) – launched a decisive offensive in northern Latakia that targeted three points along the Kurdish Mountains (Jabal Al-Akrad) in the Latakia Governorate’s northeastern countryside.

   On Friday morning, the SAA’s 103rd Brigade and their allies finally advanced in the Al-Katf Mountains on the border of the Al-Ghaab Plains after a series of intense firefights with the Islamist rebels of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, the Free Syrian Army’s “Liwaa Suqour Al-Ghaab” (Al-Ghaab Hawks Brigade), and the Syrian Al-Qaeda group “Jabhat Al-Nusra”.

 

   The SAA’s 103rd Brigade and their allies reportedly broke-through the Jabhat Al-Nusra’s frontline defenses en route to overrunning the aforementioned Islamist group’s positions before imposing full control over the Al-Katf Mountains on Friday afternoon.

 

   With the Al-Katf Mountains under their control, the Syrian Armed Forces are now in position to strike the strategic Idlib Governorate town of Al-Sirmaniyah, which is situated to the south of the Islamist rebel stronghold of Jisr Al-Shughour; this aforementioned city was captured by Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) in May of this year.

 

   If Al-Sirmaniyah is captured by the Syrian Armed Forces, they will be just 9km south of Jisr Al-Shughour and 5.5km away from the Latakia-Idlib Highway that is currently under the control of the Islamist rebels.

   Syrian Armed Forces Capture Strategic Hill from ISIS in East Homs

    On Friday afternoon, the National Defense Forces (NDF) of Sadad, the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP), and the Assyrian “Gozarto Protection Forces” (GPF) launched a counter-assault outside the predominately Syriac Christian town of Sadad, targeting the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham’s (ISIS) defensive positions near the Maheen-Sadad Checkpoint in the Homs Governorate’s eastern  countryside.

   According to a military source in the provincial capital of the Homs Governorate, the Syrian Armed Forces launched this counter-assault around 10 A.M. (Damascus Time), striking the strategic hilltop of Tal Hazim Al-Thalatha; this is the last hill before the ISIS controlled town of Maheen.

 

   Following a series of intense firefights with the ISIS combatants, the National Defense Forces, Gozarto Protection Forces, and the Syrian Social Nationalist Party broke-through the terrorist group’s defenses, seizing the entire hilltop of Tal Hazim Al-Thalatha after only 5 hours of fighting at this desert front.

 

   As a result of this successful assault in the Palmyra Triangle of east Homs, the Syrian Armed Forces are now on the outskirts of the ISIS controlled town of Maheen; this aforementioned town was captured by the terrorist group last month after only two days of battle with the National Defense Forces.

 

   If the Syrian Armed Forces are able to recapture Maheen from ISIS, they will be within 2km of the ancient Syriac Christian town of Quraytayn that was captured by the terrorist group in early August.
