Those things are spikes that were put there by islamists in order to stop attempts of joint Russian-Turkish patrols along M4 highway.

Terrible news for both Syrian air force and VKS. The sultan sent some serious air defense (MIM-23 Hawk) systems to Idlib. In the new offensive south of M4 highway, it shoud be an absolute priority to destroy these SAM systems by artillery.
