Beer got a reaction from Clan_Ghost_Bear in General AFV Thread
The outcome of the tender was, mildly said, weird at best. Now we are in a situation when we desperately need to buy the IFVs anyway but for sure for a much worse price since everything got much more expensive in the past year. I don't want to go into a blame game but for sure the previous government didn't manage the whole project well. According to various gossip the "would-be winner" was the CV90 but whether that is true or not isn't relevant anymore. Let's see what and how will the new government acquire now.
Meanwhile there is a lot of talk about MBT acquisition. At the moment it is hard to speak about numbers or types but I dare to bet that there won't be an opened tender. I expect a direct government-government deal. I personally think it will be done with US and I guess it will be two battalions in the better scenario and one battalion in the worst (ATM we have only one battalion of T-72M4CZ and an uncertain number of reserve T-72M1 - part of the original 110 or so was transfered to Ukraine).

Not much, there are only minor improvements, many of which were part of the Leopard 2A5 already 25 years earlier:
the FCS can now read multiple echoes of the LRF, which is required to engage aerial targets the commander can press a button to automatically turn the turret to face the front (0° rotation) or the back (180° rotation) a fire extinguishing system was installed/connected to the APU the ability for cold starting the engine without restarting the electronics was added cooling systems for the electronics were improved batteries were improved "fitted for but not with" an IFF system -

That is a Leopard 2A4 tank used for internal tests by KMW. The EDR coverage on the Leopard 2 from a few pages earlier mentions it.
KMW has done quite some work after that; i.e. they developed their own blast/fragmentation shield (that apparently can be folded up and down without leaving the tank), and integrated two of their smoke grenade launchers (physically at least, not sure about software) into the Trophy module.
As far as I can tell, the Trophy system still is a modular appliqué solution on the Leopard 2A7A1; the turrets of the Leopard 2A6A3 are re-used (with minor modifications); the power delivery is a bigger issue (as the Leopard 2A6A3 has no APU) and hence new hulls are produced. There is little reason to assume that the Leopard 2A7(V) could not be fitted with Trophy if desired.

This is the hull of an American M48 or M48A1 under construction. The whole thing has been formed from one single casting. Due to the nature of the process cast components were very rarely completely identical.

They fixed the mountings, dummy or not, and finished assembly.
Attachment of the live units uses mounting blocks on the stowage racks, similar to TUSK2.
Here’s the display-ready one:

Max Popenker with new civilian revolver-carbines based on RSh-12 assault revolver, from Army 2021.
MTs-569 on top, in 12.7x55 (5 shots), MTs-570 below, in 9x39 (6 shots). 12.7 is 3kJ bullet from this carbine, lol.
Max claimed that recoil was not discomforting on 12.7, and on 9x39 he called it "toy-like". Reason is that those revolvers have ability of whole upper part of gun to move under recoil forces.

Rak self-propelled mortar has arrived. This time it is integrated with Zmodyfikowane Podwozie Gąsienicowe (Modified Tracked Chassis or MPG in short) which is the newest Polish version of Opal / MT-LB tracked vehicle.
I think many foreign journalists will mistake MPG with larger and heavier Borsuk.
The second vehicle is wheeled ARV Rosomak-WPT which is built on chunkier Rosomak-L which is proposed as MLU for Rosomaks.

Regarding the cold startup time of the Leclerc :
It seem that the turbine takes roughly 25s to reach it's nominal state (judging only by the sound) and the driver doesn't start to move before the 1min mark (but that could simply be because he waited for people to move away)
