Clearly not because the Russian MOD has said they're not using cluster bombs in Syria, and would they ever lie?

Hey shitwinkle. You relise that cluster munitions are a very broad description of ordnance.

And besides why do the winds of shit blow wention someone mentions clusters. They arent the most lethal munitions being used and are far from "least humane" i guess its another buzzword you pigfuckers like to throw around like "barrel bombs"

Syrian Army threatens the ISIS oil trade in Raqqa after capturing Jibab Marayta

On Tuesday evening, the Syrian Arab Army’s 555th Brigade of the 4th Mechanized Division – backed by Liwaa Suqour Al-Sahra (Desert Hawks Brigade), Fouj Al-Joulan (Golani Regiment), the National Defense Forces (NDF), and the pro-government Palestinian militia “Liwaa Al-Quds” (Jerusalem Brigade) – imposed full control over the wells of Jibab Marayta in the oil rich part of northern Syria after a violent battle with the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS).

Following the capture of Jibab Marayta in the Ithriyah countryside, the Syrian Arab Army’s 555th Brigade and their allies pushed east towards ISIS’ primary supply from the east Homs oil fields to the Al-Raqqa Governorate, striking the imperative hilltop of Khirbat Al-Qusayr, which is located just south of the Salamiyah-Raqqa Highway.

The ISIS supply route the Syrian Arab Army’s 555th Brigade and their allies are attempting to cutoff is located along the Soukhanah-Sufayah Road; this aforementioned roadway flows into the Salamiyah-Raqqa Highway that ultimately leads to the strategic Tabaqa Military Airport and the provincial capital of the Al-Raqqa Governorate (ISIS capital).

If they were successful in cutting off the Soukhanah-Sufayah Road, the Syrian Armed Forces would be two roadways away from seizing ISIS’ last oil transport route sin eastern Syria; this would also be the terrorist group’s last two supply routes from Al-Raqqa Governorate.

Meanwhile, along the Salamiyah-Raqqa Highway, another battalion from the Syrian Arab Army’s 555th Brigade continued their advance around the strategic desert-city of Zakiyah, where they seized more oil wells before surrounding the remaining ISIS fighters entrenched nearby.

Syrian Army captures Tal Al-Kassarat from ISIS in southern Quraytayn

Minutes ago in the Homs Governorate’s southeastern countryside, the Syrian Arab Army’s 120th Brigade of the 2nd Division – in close coordination with Dara’ Qalamoun (Qalamoun Shield), Liwaa Suqour Al-Sahra (Desert Hawks Brigade), and the Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) – established control over the large hilltop of Tal Al-Kassarat after a violent battle with the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) this morning.

According to local media correspondents, the Syrian Armed Forces launched a powerful assault on ISIS’ front-line defenses in Jabal Al-Mahsaa, resulting in a fierce battle at several hilltops near the southern perimeter of Quraytayn.

The Syrian Armed Forces would capture Tal Al-Kassarat after a brief, but intense firefight with the ISIS terrorists entrenched along the northern hills of Jabal Al-Mahsaa; they have now advanced to northwestern perimeter of this mountain range in southeastern Homs.

Once the Syrian Armed Forces are able to impose full control over Jabal Al-Mahsaa, they will be within striking distance of Quraytayn’s southern district, marking the first time in nearly 6 months that any government force has reached this part of the city. The ancient Assyrian city of Quraytayn was captured by ISIS in early August of 2015, resulting in a massive withdrawal for the pro-government forces along the southeastern Homs front.

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) is taking advantage of the recent rebel setbacks in the Aleppo Governorate’s northern countryside by striking the opposition militants at several sites inside the provincial capital, including the imperative Bani Zaid and Layramoun districts.

According to a field source inside of Aleppo, the Syrian Arab Army – backed by the pro-government Palestinian militia “Liwaa Al-Quds” (Jerusalem Brigade), the National Defense Forces (NDF), and Kataebat Al-Ba’ath (Al-Ba’ath Battalion) – have launched a major military operation to seize the imperative Bani Zaid Quarter of Aleppo City, marking the first time since 2013 that the government forces have specifically concentrated on this area.

However, the Bani Zaid Quarter will not be easily captured by the Syrian Armed Forces because of the large number of extremists hidden inside this area that is situated next to Aleppo’s most densely populated neighborhoods. Unlike norther and southern Aleppo, the military operation in Bani Zaid is strictly a Syrian government offensive with only air assistance from the Russians. There are no Hezbollah or Iraqi paramilitary units helping the Syrian Arab Army against the extremist rebels from Jabhat Al-Nusra (Syrian Al-Qaeda), Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham, Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki, the Free Syrian Army (FSA), and Jabhat Al-Shamiyah in the provincial capital.

Bani Zaid Quarter is where most of the indiscriminate mortar shells fired into the provincial capital come from; its capture would likely bring the end of the armed attacks in Aleppo City.

Kurdish forces advance around Aleppo City

The predominately Kurdish “People’s Protection Units” (YPG) – backed by Jaysh Al-Thuwwar of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) – are advancing in and around the provincial capital of the Aleppo Governorate after launching a powerful assault on Tuesday morning to capture several sites from the extremist rebels of Jabhat Al-Nusra (Syrian Al-Qaeda group), Harakat Nouriddeen Al-Zinki, Jabhat Al-Shamiyah, and the Free Syrian Army (FSA).

According to field reports from Aleppo city this morning, the YPG and SDF have seized the Hanaan Hospital inside the Al-Ashrafiyah District after conducting an assault on the Islamist rebel defenses at the southern axis of the Sheikh Maqsoud District of Aleppo City.

In addition to their advance inside Aleppo City, the YPG and SDF have reportedly imposed fire control over the Castillo Roundabout, which has ultimately cutoff the rebel supply route from the provincial capital to the northern Aleppo front, where the latter is currently losing several kilometers of territory to the government and Kurdish forces.

The YPG and SDF do not appear to be finished either, as reports indicate that they are preparing another powerful assault on the extremist defenses near the strategic border-city of ‘Azaz in northern Aleppo; if true, the Turkish Army will likely resume their shelling.
