  Russian military operation started 1 month ago. Chief of the Main Operations Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Andrei Kartapolov gave a press briefing on results of month of airstrikes.

 

   "During this month Russian planes carried out 1,391 sorties, destroyed 1623 terrorist targets. These include:

 

249 different control centers and communication centers/hubs;

28 terrorists leaders;

51 terrorist training camps;

35 factories and workshops, including VBIED production facilities;

131 ammunition depots and fuel storages;

371 fortified strongholds;

786 field camps, and various bases.

 

Thus, the intensity of the action of the Russian aviation remains high"
