Alex C.
Because the US was still thinking "hey, I bet if they start shooting at each other we can make a lot of money off of it" in 1914, among other reasons (like that device hadn't yet been invented). Meplat
Also, why can't I have this? because it's ridiculously scarce and expensive, and you'd have to hand make each round?
Brick Fight
For some terrible reason, almost all of them looks similar for me. I am too modern, i guess. Which one can mount my Aimpoint micro T1 and Klesh flashlight from Zenit?

Donward
Since we've delved into World War 1 weapons that weren't strictly used at the beginning of hostilities in Europe 1914, might I submit the Bestest and Stronkest of the bunch. Yes, that is the Winchester Model 1895 Russian "Musket" lever action rifle chambered in 7.62X54Russkie. A weapon so advanced that the Russian government issued it to their crack Finnish and Latvian troops!

Meplat
Where is the bayonet? You're supposed to agressively chafe the enemy with all the cheese graters masquerading as a forend.

Meplat
Moar There was a guy who used to shoot some of the AR and Garand/SLR matches at the Big Sandy with a very pared down 1919.. It takes a LOT of work to get one that short to work properly and not beat itself up.
