@Scolopax, here is better picture of BMP-2 model with Epokha turret, plus BMP-3 with same turret.

 

 

   4 Kornet ATGMs are not the only ATGMs on this turret, on the roof there is a launcher for a new ATGM by KBP - "Bulat", probably ATGMs against light AFVs as 57 mm gun is low velocity. Why they didn't stick with BMP-3 is unknown for me, but BMP-3 turret/Bakhcha was more elegant system, with better anti-infantry capabilities, with same or better AT abilities as this turret with Bulat ATGMs, Kornets could have been mounted on BMP-3 turret pretty easily.

MGT is an innovative machine in which next technologies are implemented:
-hybrid power plant (GEM);
-electromechanical transmission (EMT);
-intelligent complex of on-board equipment and control systems;
-Remote control capability;
-rubber-metal caterpillars.

 

   The key components (electric motors DVIT-110, generator GVIT-210, control system) are developed by LLC "Special engineering projects". There are no units and assemblies of foreign production in the MGT. There are no analogues of MGT in Russia.
