Air-to-ground missile launches exercise in Western Military district.

Quote

The pilots of the Western Military District demonstrated the launches of guided aircraft missiles in the Krasnodar Territory. The crews of the Su-30SM, Su-34 and Su-35, after reconnaissance in force, hit ground targets that imitated a convoy of armored vehicles, aviation and fortified command posts of a conditional enemy with air-to-surface guided high-precision missiles at a distance of up to 2 km.

The missiles were guided by the contrast image obtained by the television camera in the conditions of working hostile air defense systems. An autonomous search for these targets was carried out by a homing head installed on the rocket, and the launch itself is performed only after the pilot confirms the operation.

In total, more than 15 launches were carried out during the departure.

2 km range for AT missile launch from a plane is kind of sad, if what is written is true.

Turkey is working on a ramjet air-to-air missile named Gökhan:

Turkish air-to-air missiles as following

Akdogan: mini air-to-air missile for use on UCAV's against other UAV's

Bozdogan: WVR missile (25km)

Gokdogan: BVR missile (more than 65km and later blocks 100km)

Gökhan: BVR ramjet missile (meteor equivalent)

Looks like actual rolling air frame not just wooden mock up

Sukhoi is the only game in town if this budget cut gen 5 for export is any good. ,Mig can close down its Mig 35 /29 operation

It won't take less than ten-fifteen years before it will be operational.

Sukhoi and Mig are no longer separate companies, rather separate design teams under the UAC. Mig has access to Sukhoi´s research and installations and vice versa.  If this plane is any good and is offered at a good price it will do very well in the export market as its only competitor is the F-35.

Depends on how many stuff it borrows from Su-57. For example, if its meant to share the same Izdelie 30 engine, then a big chunk of development work will be finalized before this Mig comes off production lines.

More like X-32ski, if current rumours are true.

Picts unrelated to actual craft , in any case no 5gen project in the world follows F35 or X-35 for good reason as first of these are designed to peculiar specification for a medium altitude medium speed bomb truck that has to also be made to serve in 3 widely differing configurations while using same fat air frame and massive engine to make VTOL work.  Every one else is developing a fighter with some ground attack capability and no Vtol configuration. So current designs Chinese, Korean,Japanese,Brit are far more along the lines of F22 than anything else . If this is using same engine as Su57 this is be the smallest and lightest of the  5th gen offerings much smaller than f35

the X-32 chin inlet is quite specific to the positioning of the engine right behind the pilot due to harrier like Vtol configuration , if Russian model has a chin intake you can bet 100% its for different reasons .Looking at the actual picts not the unrelated fan renders or model photos it doesn't seem to have an x-32 like intake. it also looks like it doesn't have any horizontal tail (altough these could be just unmounted to further confuse the observers)

Design configuration seems quite unique .

Combat radious - 1500km

Over 7t combat load

Anti-air and ground strikes capable.

Decreased by several hunder meters runway for takeoff

Designed used supercomputers, VR, other new digital tech, ambitious schedule

2026-2027 - serial production, planned

Plane at the show is not a mock up, but early prototype. This exact plane will undergo static load tests and then will be finished and conduct first test flight.
