LoooSeR
OSCE monitoring group's work in Ukraine is hampered. OSCE monitors are doing risky job in Ukraine. They are sometimes caught between the shots themselves and some of them have been injured. I mean the job they are doing is rather hard and when Ukrainian military are hampering their effort it makes their job even more risky and harder http://beforeitsnews.com/events/2015/09/osce-ukraine-corrupted-misalliance-2434108.html I see this as sort of disrespect towards peacekeeping mission of the EU. Well, talks about OSCE being blind i started to see pretty long time ago - maybe like 8-10 months ago. There were several instances about 3 months ago when Kiev forces shelled 2 villages, but OSCE did not arrived to places, while they should have. It ended up with somebdoy vandalising OSCE cars. And... Welcome to SH.

LostCosmonaut
quote: In September when visiting Washington, President Poroshenko believed he had received assurance that counter-battery radars would be supplied. However, what arrived seven months later, was not the long range ANTPQ36 but the counter-mortar ANTPQ35 with a range of only 5km. Because it has an active emitter, the Russians are able to accurately identify its position; and because it is a towed system and requires a half-hour shut down before moving, it is highly vulnerable to the counter-fire it is supposed to suppress. EnsignExpendable
And then the radars were lost almost immediately, which is probably the reason why they got the bad short-range ones.
SuperComrade
I'm pretty sure they would be able to identify the long range radar too, and do the exact same thing
LoooSeR
So, after Russia started operation in Syria... "Ukrainian Foreign Ministry expects public assurances that Moscow would not use military force against Kiev" Well, wasn't Ukrainian forces fighting with "Russian army" before and killing them in thousands? Collimatrix
Not sure if this goes in this thread or the terrible music thread. By putting it in this thread you're implicitly saying that Crimea is part of the Ukraine. Which means that you are politically aligned with Khrushchev. Which means that you are against Georgy Zhukov. Which means that you are against Coca Cola. Which means... Also, Limp Bizkit? Putin has gone too far this time.
