More tests in store for farther-shooting howitzers (defensenews.com)

Quote

The Army is conducting a major operational test on its Extended Range Cannon Artillery to better understand how the longer gun tube can handle a heavy amount of firing.

Observations from early testing showed that the gun tube exhibits excessive wear and tear after a relatively low number of rounds are fired. The service is looking at adjustments in materials used, the design of the gun tube, adjustments to propellants and the design of artillery rounds fired.

The service is currently building 20 prototypes for the ERCA system – two for destructive testing and the other 18 sent to a battalion by late 2023, originally reported by Army Times sister publication Defense News

The Army is set to make those deliveries, meaning it has made 20 prototypes within three years.

One possible solution would include use ramjet artillery currently in development, but the ramjet technology must meet certain cost requirements. Ramjet technology allows a missile to draw in air for combustion simply by its forward motion through the air, saving onboard air storage space.

The Army has been putting together the ERCA systems across different locations, including New York’s Watervliet Arsenal, which makes the gun tubes. Their final integration will occur at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. From there, they will head to Yuma Proving Ground, Arizona for characterization testing.

Best Korea tested Hwasal-1 and Hwasal-2 cruise missiles.

Quote

On March 22, exercises were held to launch strategic cruise missiles in order to work out the procedure and process for fulfilling strategic nuclear offensive missions.
Before the launch exercise, there were exercises to re-test the normal operation and safety of the technical and system mechanism, including the procedure for certifying a nuclear attack order and the launch approval system, and re-practice the ways of conducting combat operations of strategic cruise missile units and their preparation for firing.
Strategic cruise missiles are equipped with test warheads that simulate a nuclear warhead.

Note sure if black missiles are Hwasal/Hwasar-1 or -2, the other missile on photos was painted white and had visible differences in air intake design.

Two strategic cruise missiles of the Hwasar-1 type and two strategic cruise missiles of the Hwasar-2 type, launched from Chakdo village, Heungnam district, Hamhung city, South Hamgyong province, flew 7557-7567 seconds and 9118-9129 seconds separately along the oval and 8-shaped trajectory, simulating a distance of 1500 km and 1800 km over the East Korean Sea, hit the intended target.
The launch exercise included a strafing test of cruise missiles and a test to evaluate the ability to control variable altitude and evasive flight.
They also once again confirmed the reliability of the operation of nuclear explosion control devices and fuses of each missile of various types, using the method of air blast at a height of 600 meters.

Recording of NK TV broadcast, quality is not good. But they placed plenty of cameras and drones on the flight path to get cool shots. Also you can see how missile is avoiding terrain in some of those clips.

White one have differences in air intake, it is longer and bigger. Overal design is similar.

Pyongyang, 28 March. /CTAC/-- The missile unit, which is taking on the important task of delivering a fire strike on the central front, on March 27 conducted a demonstration rocket launch exercise for training, aimed at ensuring that units at the military unit worked out the order and processes for performing an important task of delivering fire strike.
The exercises were supervised by the Main Missile Directorate, and the commanders and fighters of all units at the military unit observed the progress of the exercises.
A training company directly subordinate to a military unit is involved in the exercises. It made a demonstration launch of 2 surface-to-surface tactical ballistic missiles in the mode of striking by means of a nuclear explosion in the air.
During the pre-launch exercise, the procedure for certifying a nuclear attack order and the normal operation of the launch authorization system were tested, as well as demonstration training in the processes of standard combat operations and movements in order to deliver a nuclear strike on a target set according to a certain procedure and rules for obtaining an order to nuclear attack.
A tactical ballistic missile is equipped with a test warhead that simulates a nuclear warhead.
The training company, inflicting a mock nuclear strike in the Ryokpo region on an island target in front of the city of Kimchak, North Hamgyong province, detonated a warhead in the air at an altitude of 500 meters above the target.
The commander of the military unit noted that the mission of our unit is clear and we are aware of what we must do in case of emergency.

At at time when everybody is talking about increasing ammunition production, here is a somewhat old (undated) promo video by Eurenco on their production of 155 mm charges :

Even if it was probably intentional (Look at our employee doing sciency stuff!) you still get the feeling that the production is rather artisanal and small-scale and that there is a lot of work to go back to a full industrial scale.
