I believe it's mostly made out of the pain the commander is going to feel when the main gun recoils right into his crotch, based on the location of the commanders hatch.

He has managed to come up with something slightly less realistic than the toys I played with as a kid.

Engine deck is what mainly caught my eye.  M60A2 turret placed on an earlier M48 hull.  The source I pulled it from said that it was a used for vehicle recovery training at Ft. Knox.

Cool pic.  I had seen pictures of that M48A1/M60A2 Frankenstein tank before and wondered what they used it for.

Georgian Didgori Medical MRAPs in Saudi Arabia (26 Febr 2016)

 

Didgori (AMEV) is build on top of the Ford-550 civil pick-up chassis (4x4), vehicles are produced at Tbilisi aviation factory. Weight is 8200 kg, combat weight - 9800 kg, can transport 4 wounded on stretchers. Engine is 356 hp diesel, belived to be International MaxxForce 7, which is used in civil diesel versions of Ford-550 pickup. Protection - rumored to be Armox 500T+ steel armor by one Sweden company (SSAB?). Level of protection according to European standarts - BR-7+ (7.62x51 NATO from 10 meters).
