Hyundai Rotem's and Hanwha Defense's booth at the recent 2022 Advanced Defense Industry Exhibition which happened in Daejeon, at the Daejeon Convention Center on the 15th.

Biggest thing worth noting is the AS21 variant vehicles showcased with a decently clear picture of the K-MPF being seen.

The Next Generation Wheeled Fighting Vehicle also made a reappearance

Sadly no clearer photos of a lot of the stuff at Hyundai Rotem's booth have been uploaded or it's paywalled. I will keep an eye out if anything more pops up.

Is it some form of insanity - to endlessly spam the exact same IFV-based fire support vehicle concept, over and over again, which no one procures?

Make a normal medium tank hull with same components ffs - it isn't that expensive.

Seems that the side armor of the K2 is designed to stop 30 mm APDS (or "00 mm" APDS) along the crew compartment and 20 or 30 mm AP ("00 mm" AP) at the rest of the hull/turret.

it's also can be 20mm AP-T or 14,5mm AP-T, even 7,62mm AP need two digits thickness of armor :)

Well, in case of the K21 they mention protection against "00.0 x 000 mm API / B32"... so "14.5 mm" would likely be replaced with "00.0 mm". The 4x4 vehicle is protected against "0.00 × 00 mm AK00 0N00" which is likely some kind of 7.62 mm (x 39 mm?) round.

Poland is said to purchase 180 K2 MBT for delivery by 2024.
Talks are in progress about AS21 Redback.

@Laser Shark, do you think this will sway Norway’s opinion on the K2 now that there is another European buyer?

I think it will especially with the deal Poland is looking at. Poland will receive full rights to the K2 including manufacturing, modification and sales. This would give Norway another local parts distributor once their factory is established along with the potential to work with Poland on future K2 support.

The contest certainly seems a lot more open after this victory, and it wasn't a moment too soon as had it happened just a few months later it probably would have been too late to affect the outcome of the Norwegian process.

My hope is that the Norwegian decision is reflecting both, technical performance of the MBT and commercial benefit of the business. I still believe that Leopard 2 is the better choice.

Why do you think the Leopard 2 is the better choice ?

Estimated better protection, multi fuel engine, high system reliability, best reputation within Leopard 2 user club including future enhancement strategies, common spare part supply via LEOBEN

Given mass and one man less , you would be hard pressed to claim advantage at armor protection. Multi  fuel engine is basically any diesel engine its more of a marketing fad than practical application . I wouldn't be surprised if K2 would utterly outclass the Leopard2 at firing on the move due to hydropneumatic suspension. And Koreans are probably willing to offer more manufacturing and tech cooperation to sells theirs while Germans can barely built a leopard without sourcing mayor parts around Europe
